Nothing about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blimp makes sense. An enormous, slow-moving, easily attackable vehicle would seem idiotic even if the Turtles weren’t carrying tons of sharp edged objects that could easily puncture the hull. Then there’s the issue of storage. How do you get a gigantic blimp down into the sewers?

I know it’s cheating, but I used to glue extra armament to my Apache helicopters. I had a fleet of Apaches painted black and saddled with bunker-busters to do bombing runs, and I had three A-10 Warthogs for dogfighting (turrets on the wings, son!). It didn’t make any sense but it looked totally awesome. I used to draw on graphpaper the aircraft and the payload it carried. It’s hard for me to get excited about today’s modern aircraft. The F-35 is superior in all aspects, but it lacks style.
