bobaguys: We’re pleased to introduce our first line of premium Boba Guys enamel camp mugs! They’re perfect for tea (or coffee) out in the woods or in the comfort of your own home. We sourced them from a manufacturer in Europe who still uses WWII era equipment to produce these classic and sturdy cups. Each steel mug is coated in hand-dipped enamel, with a double layer on the handle and rim to keep them going strong.
*Please note these mugs are made by hand, resulting in small bits of character that make them truly unique.

bobaguysWhere the world’s biggest tea drinkers are

China is far and away the largest consumer of tea, at 1.6 billion pounds a year. But per person, as illustrated in the map above, the picture is a lot different: Turkey, Ireland, and the United Kingdom are home to the world’s biggest tea drinkers.

The Turkish, for one, don’t merely enjoy drinking tea; they downright adore the stuff. Turkey’s nearly 7 pounds per person per year is easily the largest in the world. (via Quartz)

bobaguys: We shot this when we visited Singapore. It’s called "Teh Tarik" which literally means pulled tea. When we tried it, it didn’t go over so well so for now, we’ll leave it to the pros.

Ichi-go Ichi-e: one chance, one encounter.
The phrase harks directly from Chado—the Zen way of tea. It means when we sit down for tea, alone or with another, all we have is this one, this single chance meeting. It has never existed before. It will never exist again. So let’s be fully present to it. Drinking tea in this manner improves our awareness and leads to more mindfulness in every facet of life.
We are currently offering our own Boba Guys Blend of looseleaf black tea, exclusively at our Mission shop. This is the same great black tea blend that we brew for our original milk tea in our own store, but now you can brew it at home! Just add milk.

bobaguys: We hired Captain Jean-Luc Picard to help us announce the arrival of hot drinks at Boba Guys. His favorite on the menu? Tea, earl grey hot.
